SMS Terms

When you select the optional appointment-text checkbox, Salt Proof Garage may text you about your appointment request, confirmation, date or time changes, cancellations and reminders. These messages relate to your service request; this is not a marketing subscription.

Website chat follow-up texts

If you ask a question in the website chat, leave a phone number and tick the optional box allowing texts, Salt Proof Garage may text you that number with the owner’s answer to your question and a private link back to the conversation. These texts relate only to your question; they are not marketing, and the box is optional and not a condition of getting an answer, because we can reply by email instead. Message frequency varies with your question, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop them at any time or HELP for help. The website assistant is an AI and its answers may be wrong; only a text or email from Greg himself is a quote or a confirmed appointment. Chats and the contact details you leave there are deleted 90 days after their last activity.

Your choice

Text consent is optional and is not a condition of requesting or purchasing service. Email updates are available whether or not you choose texts. Message frequency varies with your request and booking. Message and data rates may apply.

Stop or get help

Reply STOP to the automated number to stop appointment and chat follow-up texts. Reply HELP for help. You can also contact norust@saltproofgarage.com or text our main business number, (302) 722-6629. Opting out of texts does not cancel your appointment.

Delivery and replies

Automated messages may come from a different number than our main business line. Replies to that number are forwarded to the business for review. A text reply does not automatically change or cancel an appointment; use your private appointment link or contact us. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

We do not sell or share your mobile information or text consent for third-party marketing. See our privacy policy for service-provider processing and retention.
